Just a quick post to share how much fun I am having as a sewing and quilting instructor!
The ladies you see in the picture came to the shop for a six- hour marathon to learn how to make a reversible, quilted table runner. It's a class that is usually taught in 3-2hr sessions, but some ladies come from remote towns in Quebec (some drove 8 hrs to get here!) where there aren't any shops/classes available. So we did the class in one day!
There was alot to cover in one day but the mood was so great. The ladies were so enthusiastic, despite a couple of set-backs with the machines.
I was on my feet all day (spent the lunch break troubleshooting a glitchy machine) but oddly enough i wasn't feeling tired at all throughout the day. I think i was running on adrenaline. And probably so were the rest of them. Just look at us in the picture. It was taken at the end of the day. And we're still smiling! (That's me in the pink scarf).
Thanks ladies, for a great time!

Those were some seriously motivated students! No wonder you felt good all day :)
